Customizing a Leather Belt

Leather belts where the buckle is attached by a screw can be customized. They can be cut shorter, as illustrated below. Retainer loops can be removed or replaced.

Screw that holds belt buckle on.

Remove screw.

Separate buckle from belt strap.

Cut strap to desired length.

Punch new hole 1" from edge.
